2013 Great Lakes Fat Bike Series
The Great Lakes Fat Bike Series is the premiere fatbike racing series in the Midwest. New for 2013, it brings together six of the Midwest's most recognized and popular fatbike races.

Series Overview with Scott Chambers
Scott Chambers is the man behind the Great Lakes Fat Bike Series and is involved with the Farmer's Fat Bike Race.
In this interview, Scott discusses how and why the series started, gives some insight into what racers can expect from series races, shares details about the prizes and rules, and provides some thoughts on how much fun racers will have this winter. The show is a great opportunity to learn about the series before listening to all the race directors discuss their specific races.

Farmer's Fat Bike Race Report

The Farmer's Fat Bike Race went off without snow on Saturday, January 12 and it was a huge hit. About excited 150 fatbikers showed up at the Cannonsburg Ski Area to race on the near perfect dirt conditions. A crazy January thaw greeted riders with temperatures near 60 degrees.
Danielle Musto, Jorden Wakeley, and Scott Chambers joined the show to give you a race report. Listen in to hear Danielle talk about her win in the Women's Solo Division and Jorden about his win in the Men's Solo.

Fat Bike Birkie
Ned Zuelsdorff, the Executive Director of the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation, joined the show to discuss the 2013 race on March 9. The Fat Bike Birkie is the 5th race of the Great Lakes Fat Bike Series, as well as the finale in the nine-race Fat-Bike Race Series. With close to 300 fatbikes, it's sure to be one of the most popular fatbike races in the country. Be sure to listen in to hear all about it!
The American Birkebeiner is one of the largest cross country ski races in the world. Thousands of cross country skiers descend upon Hayward, Wisconsin, a small outdoor-oriented city in Northwestern Wisconsin. This is the 39th year of the ski race.

Nikki Dewald, Noquemanon Trail Network (NTN) Director of Operations, and Lyle VanderSchaaf, NTN Board Member, joins the show to discuss the Noquemanon Ski Marathon Weekend.
