True Grit Epic

True Grit Epic Race Director, Cimarron Chacon, joins the show to discuss the upcoming True Grit on March 16 in St. George, Utah. The race includes a 23, 50, and 100 mile option (the 100-miler has been shortened slightly this year to align with the NUE Series.)

As the NUE opener, the race is a great opportunity to race an early season series race, while experiencing great trails in a unique part of the country.

Cimarron gives us some background of her expertise in trailbuilding and understanding of what it takes to put races together. The show got a little sidetracked in a great direction once we had racers Jeff Higham, Jonathan Davis, and Drew Edsall join the show to give their experienced perspective. Each of them shares their thoughts on the course, including favorite sections, preferred bike setup, and more. Drew also shares a little basic information on training for it.
