What's Up at MBR?
It's been busier than normal around Mountain Bike Radio HQ. If you haven't seen it, the Mountain Fatbike Series is moving along and we're bringing new sponsors and races on (should be a big announcement in the not too distant future - I'm pretty excited about that one) and are looking to go big in Colorado in 2014. There are several projects in the works and Mountain Bike Radio is to blame.
Anyhow, enough about that. If you're a frequent follower of Mountain Bike Radio you know that I have a lot to learn. It's come a long way since last May, but it has a long way to go - interview quality, guests, content, details, etc. I admit, I'm not near being good at this. But, a lot of practice has gotten me used to being out in the public for all to criticize. This leads to an attitude of just getting out there and do what I like and try damn hard doing it.
So, what am I getting at.
The cycling world is expanding and changing constantly and Mountain Bike Radio will do the same.
Here is what is up. (Hint: Live Video) Read on:
Who are you?
Are you a shop owner, race director, own a small mountain bike related company, or how about a small builder or an individual rider?
Would you like to show off your shop, your race, your newest build, or a seminar or workshop at your local shop through a live video that is archived?
Don't have time to do a video and don't think that it'll reach many people?
What am I getting at?
Mountain Bike Radio can help connect you with your fans, customers, potential customers, mountain biking friends, and get them familiar with your shop, brand, or product. It's unique and speaks right to the mountain biking community.
Use your imagination. Maybe you're hosting a clinic in your shop or you built up a sweet ride for a customer. You could just post a picture to Facebook and hope it doesn't get lost in the sea of things that each person likes. Or, you could take 5 minutes, point your camera, and show it up close with a quick explanation and reminding them of your information. Or, perhaps, you built up two or three during the day and want to hold a 10-15 video session and take questions through a chat.
Unique, fun, and interactive. That's what it's all about.
How Does It Work?
1. You contact me to schedule something: Email Me
2. You have a device with a decent video camera - computer, webcam, tablet, phone.
3. I start up the show, you join in and off we go. People can view it live, join in a chat, and then it's archived.
4. I can be on the air or off. Up to you.
Here is the first show we did recently with the Just Riding Along crew:
What does it cost?
If you've gotten this far, you're probably now wondering....ok, how much does this guy want for this?
The answer is nothing...for now. Eventually, you will have package deals on ad space that will include a video spot if you wish.
