What is Mountain Bike Radio?
Mountain Bike Radio is THE voice of mountain biking.
Mountain Bike Radio, founded in April 2012, is a network of online
radio shows and podcasts that is the place for all mountain bike talk. We discuss racing, current events, and anything in the mountain biking world. From the average joe to the top pro and from short
track to multiday adventures, we aim to bring the world of mountain biking to listeners. The network includes several different regular shows, individual interviews, and, new for 2013, mountain bike
race series reports. Being based at the edge of the Colorado Rocky Mountain Foothills, MBR is located in the middle of mountain biking country!
It's mountain bike talk from mountain bikers, for mountain bikers.
Who listens to Mountain Bike Radio?
The listener base is very wide. It includes xc racers, endurance racers, touring fans, gravel grinders, enduro, leisure riders, riding tour leaders, race directors, and anyone interested in mountain bike equipment. Based on Facebook demographics, the audience is approximately 20% women and 80% men. Most are from the US, while we do have a notable following in the UK, Canada, and South Africa. The base is quite spread out throughout the US. It is well represented in the West, including the headquarters home state of Colorado, throughout the Upper Midwest, Southeast, and Mid Atlantic region.

Rather than having to go to 10 different websites to hear the buzz, people are tuning in on their drive to the trail, trip to the races, commute, doing stuff around the house, working out, and while sitting in the office. They can listen to guys like Jeremiah Bishop talk about racing at the Trans-Sylvania Epic or tune in to hear from the race director talking about the El Paso Puzzler to get idea about course conditions.
