This episode was live on location from pedal of Littleton. A special thanks to pedal for hosting the live interview and for being the place to go for the best and most up-to-date fatbike information around!

"Unchained Iceland" is Geoff Harper's attempt of a 500-mile traverse of Iceland's Southern beaches on a Gates Carbon Drive 9:ZERO:7 Tusken fatbike. In August, 2013, Geoff will traverse the volcanic beaches of Iceland's South Coast from Höfn to Reykjavík covering the 500 miles in 4 weeks.

Iceland's South Coast has many ocean inlets and glacial runoff, as well as the ever present threat of high winds and persistent rain. Geoff will be journaling during the expedition through blog posts and photographs to share his experiences and equipment necessary to conquer the challenge.

Geoff joins the show to share his experiences, how he decided to embark on this adventure, preparation, and what he expects out of the trip.
